  1. Set at least 30 minutes to one hour in your schedule each day for personal development.
  2. In your journal (a simple spiral bound notebook will do) start writing down skills and areas of your life that you would like to improve.  Place a star or highlight the areas that you feel you need to immediately work on.  Don’t overload your schedule with working on all of the areas at once.  Some areas that need improvement might require long-term development, such as going back to school, getting certified in a particular subject or learning a new skill.  So don’t sabotage yourself by thinking you can change everything overnight.
  3. Complete a personal development worksheet located in the members download area.
  4. Schedule time to complete each action that is needed.
  5. Take notice as to whether you see improvement or not.
  6. Consider working with a life or business coach (one-on-one or group session) for resources, support and encouragement.
  7. Purchase at least one book (hardcopy, audio or e-book) that will enhance your knowledge in each area that you have identified.
  8. Search for seminars in-person or online courses and workshops that you can take.
  9. Consider making larger commitments to improving yourself, such as going back to school, 3 month or six month certifications or programs or entrepreneur training programs.
  10. Place no limits on your dreams and goals and make sure that you let no one else place limits on you either – keep yourself surrounded by positive and encouraging people!
